Firefighters, police officers, soldiers and teachers. Four jobs I could never, ever do. Firefighters, police officers and soldiers are always heading into trouble, and teachers see some form of it almost every day.

All about me
I'm a stay at home mom - of course, I have a job driving a "personal taxi" for my daughter! I also work part-time as a substitute teacher at my daughter's school. Believe me, teachers do NOT get paid enough!
My hobbies include writing, photography and jewelry making. I love to watch football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis - all levels - pro, college, high school, and middle school.
I first visited Vegas in August 1997 - I was on my way back to Texas after visiting my dying Uncle in California - an 18-hour layover in Vegas sealed the deal!
My non-human children, Mia and Mickey:
6/23/08 - We just found out that we lost a friend of ours at Las Vegas 4 Ever. IrishMick (Richard Nolan) died on 6/12/08 after complications related to cancer. We all wanted to meet him, and now we'll never get the chance. God bless you, Richard. May you rest in peace.

I stood looking at that view of the Pacific Ocean in late April, and had a hard time leaving the rail to do anything else...heh heh. Even now, my blood pressure drops if I spend some time with the photo..

I have a special place in my heart for the first responders all over our country too. My Dad retired from a PD after 30 years of service. I did the job for a short time as well. If I had to do it over again, I would have become a Fireman. People love Firefighters more.
